One of our members who became semi-homebound heard of the “Buck-a-chick” program a couple of years ago and suggested we try it. Throughout Lent kids of all ages were invited to color a chick for $1 to hang on the giving tree. Another member with a small farm brought live baby chicks and the little kids went crazy!

Easter for me is not about colored eggs and chocolate bunnies. Easter is about a place called hope.
