Rev. Steve McKinley was a parish pastor for 38 years, serving congregations in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Minnesota. He currently serves on the internship staff at Luther Seminary. For 26 years he wrote the popular Pastor Loci column in Lutheran Partners magazine. He is also the author of five books and many magazine articles. He served as acting president and board chair at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, and has consulted on stewardship with many congregations in the upper midwest and in Pennsylvania. He is a husband, a father and a grandfather.
