Bay Shore Lutheran Church has chosen to designate their funds to two Greater Milwaukee Synod ministries: Outreach for Hope and Campus Ministry.  Thank you, Bay Shore!

Pastor Chuck Turbin has chosen to designate his funds to Camp Indian Sands.  Pastor Turbin wrote to say:

Camp Indian Sands located on Tuttle Lake in Marquette County, was established by Ascension Lutheran Church in Milwaukee in 1965…Its primary mission is to provide a Christ-centered camping experience for urban youth primarily from southeast Wisconsin… The aim of the camp is to strive to be an extension of the ministries done by city and urban congregations in The Greater Milwaukee Synod of The ELCA, but not exclusively; also reaching out to additional youth, as well.

As is the case with outdor ministries in general, Camp Indian Sands finds itself financially challenged, right now, but this gift and others like it will help in meeting its ministry goals.  I am grateful for this opportunity to select Camp Indian Sands to receive this generous will be used in the spirit in which it was intended, to minister to urban and needy young people in the Greater Milwaukee Synod. – Pr. Chuck Turbin
Thank you, Pastor Turbin!
And thank you to everyone who participated in the 50/50 Not a Raffle!
