God’s presence is all around us – every step and every breath – but daily life is full of distractions that keep us from seeing and feeling God with us. In worship, we wake up to the deeper truth in which we live. We stop and remember in word and song and silence and prayer that we are a holy people living in a holy world. We are fed with the bread and wine of grace and love so we can be grace and love to others. We are empowered to meet life’s distractions centered in God.
We worship every Thursday evening at 5:30 at The Corner House to experience this transformation. Every worship service includes the sacred meal of Holy Communion and is followed by a second sacred meal of home cooked food, caring conversation, and lots of laughter. All are welcome at both tables!
The Corner House is a Reconciling in Christ community fully embracing our LGBT siblings and all who seek a spiritual home.
