St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa is seeking the right person to undertake the newly created Church Administrator position. This is a full-time, exempt position. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
The Church Administrator is responsible for facilities management, human resources, financial, stewardship and overall operations of the church and its staff. The preferred candidate will build and maintain a creative and effective work environment and work collaboratively with the church’s pastoral and lay staff, as well as the Church Council and its committees. The successful candidate must pay strong attention to details, manage simultaneous projects, and operate effectively even when things are not certain or the path forward is not clear.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred, and five or more years in program management and or leadership experience, preferably in non-profit or church environments.
