Your submission must be received no later than Monday, January 7 in the synod office. Be sure to include your congregation’s name, your age, and your contact information on your submission. If you have any questions please contact us at 414.671.1212.
We are also in need of an adult chaperone (a background check will be required) to travel with our delegation and provide transportation. The fee for youth delegates is $10 per person; there is no charge for the chaperone.
The day will include a blend of large-group time and breakouts where participants will unfold their stories, hopes and fears around gun violence, working with experienced storytellers, griots, and poets to shape stories in ways that transform. A story slam will end the day and willing participants can share before an appreciative audience.
