This workshop is designed for congregation teams and individuals who want to deepen their understanding of racism and the part we all play in upholding and maintaining the system. The workshop will be grounded in the stories of participants, stories of the Bible, and stories of history. We will examine the construction and meaning of racism, provide tools to understand our own place within systems of oppression, and identify steps and opportunities to grow in both understanding and action.
