Synod Assembly events on Friday, May 31 are open to the public. We invite you to join us for dinner (ticket purchase required), worship, and a dessert reception at the Italian Community Center beginning at 5 p.m.

5:30 p.m. Dinner in the Grand Ballroom

Rev. Emmy Kegler is our keynote speaker. She will be available to sign her newly release book One Coin Found. Learn more about Pastor Kegler and her book below.

A dinner ticket purchase is required. Tickets are non-refundable after May 1.

  • $20 for people 30 and younger as of May 31, 2019

7:00 p.m. Worship in the Festa Ballroom

Join us for joyful worship followed by a lovely dessert reception. Everyone is welcome to attend worship.

Rev. Emmy Kegler

Emmy Kegler is the pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Northeast Minneapolis(gracenempls.org). the founder and editor of Queer Grace, an encyclopedia of online resources around LGBTQ life and faith (queergrace.com), and a co-leader of the Queer Grace Community, a group of LGBTQ+ Christians in the Twin

Cities (queergracecommunity.com). Her first book, One Coin Found: How God’s Love Stretches to the Margins, is the story of her journey with and through Scripture as an openly gay woman called to ordained ministry. She lives in Saint Paul with her wife Michelle and their two dogs and cat.
