an event happening in Atlanta, Georgia.
Spirited Generosity: Offering Vitality in the 21st Century
November 20-21, 2019
Generosity NEXT features plenary speakers who are thought leaders on cutting-edge topics related to faithful stewardship and generosity in the North American cultural landscape.
Receiving offerings has been an ongoing part of the church’s story, beginning with the earliest scripture texts. Spirited Generosity: Offering Vitality in the 21st Century will explore the history and theology of the offering, its spiritual significance, and how faith communities can continue to make congregational giving a vital practice in 21st-century culture.
Spirited Generosity will feature these four plenary sessions:
- Historical and theological review of the offering in Judeo/Christian culture
- The Offering as Worship: theological and biblical aspects of the offering as an act of worship, discipleship, and mission
- Cultural Influences on the Offering: technology, generational differences, and the place of church in society
- Best Practices for the Offering: making the offering a meaningful moment when faith communities gather

Thursday, November 21st – on-site event canceled; Q&A sessions can be viewed using the links that will be sent following the event.
Registration & Deadlines
Registration for this event is now open!
The registration fee is $15.
After the event, all those who attend will receive a link to videos of the presentations. You can use this link to share the learnings with others at your congregation only.
Thursday, November 14th, 4:00 pm: Registration Deadline to receive a box lunch on Wednesday.
Those who register after November 14th may attend the event but will need to bring their own lunch.
In either case, the registration fee remains the same.
