Professional lay church staff are also welcome to attend.   The purpose of this collaboration is\, in part\, to show a shared commitment to boundaries education across the region\, to create and sustain professional ministry leadership in our synods\, for safety in our communities of faith\, and to pool our resources to offer high quality educational events. The collaborative boundaries education follows a three-year cycle covering Professional Boundaries\, Gender Justice\, and Racial Justice. Rhonda Hill is the Founder and Executive Director of Race & Faith\, where she equips leaders and communities to engage race\, identity\, and justice through theological reflection\, racial identity development\, and embodied spiritual practice. She is the creator of the Race & Faith Quadrants which guides learners toward courageous\, embodied\, anti-racist discipleship rooted in the Imago Dei. Rhonda teaches nationally on anti-racism\, restorative leadership\, and faith-based community transformation.   Her presentation\, “The Stories We Tell\,” will serve as the guiding framework for our time together. The day will include a live opening session with Rhonda Hill\, followed by pre-recorded video sessions for the remainder of the workshop.   Our synod has had the privilege of learning from Rhonda Hill at past events. The material presented at the November 5 Boundaries Education is being created specifically for this event. While the material will build on the base of what you have learned previously\, it will also go both deeper and broader in looking at anti-racism education through the lens of myth-making and myth-busting\, both as individuals and within our congregational settings. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Tentative Agenda \n \n \n \n 8:30 am – Registration 9:00 am – Worship 9:30 am –  Live Session with Rhonda Hill 10:20 am –  Session 1 11:30 am –  Session 2 12:10 pm –  Lunch 1:00 pm –  Wrap up Session 2/Begin Session 3 1:40 pm –  Session 3 2:40 pm –  Closing Ritual and Final Announcements 3:00 pm – Depart
