Stephen Knowles and Laurie Meyer, attorneys with the Milwaukee office of Davis & Kuelthau, s.c. will present “Employment Law for Church Leaders,” a seminar for pastors, administrators, and lay leaders. The seminar will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Menomonee Falls.

Who Should Attend
This seminar is for rostered leaders, administrators, and lay leaders who deal with staff and personnel matters.
The registration fee is $40 per congregation for up to four people. Lunch is on your own at area fast food restaurants.

About the Presenters
Between them, Stephen Knowles and Laurie Meyer have more than 50 years of experience in all aspects of employment law. They defend employers in federal and state courts and administrative agencies and advise corporate clients on all aspects of employment law. Stephen Knowles has served as the attorney for the Greater Milwaukee Synod since the Synod’s formation and also provides legal services for other ELCA synods, the ELCA’s churchwide organization, and ELCA congregations.
