The synod’s compensation guidelines have been approved for 2017. As in 2016, the changes made were not across-the-board, but represent an effort to more closely align the Greater Milwaukee Synod with other synods in our region. There continue to be recommended step increases for all leaders covered by the guidelines, with the greatest rate increases for less experienced leaders, whose rates historically have been below those of other synods.
