CeCee Mills\, secretary of ELCA will preach. \nParticipants will have the opportunity to renew their ordination and baptismal vows and receive a small container of oil that can be used for anointing. \nWe are grateful for the many ways that our leaders are serving during Lent and Holy Week\, and hope that this time of worship can be a chance to reflect and be renewed in body and spirit.

Bluemound Road \nMilwaukee\,\nWI\n53226\nUnited States\n+ Google Map \n\n414-476-9411  \n\n \nIn February\, members of the Greater Milwaukee Synod community were invited to participate in two collaborative design workshops for a mural that will be installed at The Table. These ideas were used by community artist\, Tia Richardson\, to draw inspiration for the design. Now we are very excited to announce the next step in our mural project. \nOn Monday\, March 2 from 6 – 7pm we will unveil the mural design during a gathering at Martin Luther Lutheran Church\, Milwaukee\, 9235 W. Bluemound Rd. We invite you to join us and see how your ideas were used by community artist Tia Richardson to create the design. \nAfter our design reveal we will prepare for our community painting day which is scheduled for March 7 from 1pm to 5pm at Ascension Lutheran Church\, Milwaukee.  We invite you to learn more about the community painting day here.

DESCRIPTION:PLEASE NOTE: This training is intended for those who have previously completed our “Deconstructing Racism (Introductory Training)” or equivalent training. Click here to learn more about our April 2023 introductory training… \n“Anti-Racism Action & Organizing” is an advanced training facilitated by Rev. Marilyn Miller and Joyce Caldwell\, PhD that is grounded in the biblical story of Acts 10 and 11. We will follow the steps for action laid out by Peter and Cornelius as they crossed the cultural chasm of their day to break down barriers and live into new community in Christ. We will use a Spectrum of Organizations to examine our current realities\, analyze factors for change\, and identify next steps.
