Join our synod’s Mission Table for “Inspired for Mission,” a monthly virtual gatherings centered around inspiring stories of where God is leading our Church!

Our topic for September is “A Faithful Response to Artificial Intelligence.”

Like it or not, AI is here and it is changing how certain tasks are done, including in the church. AI can certainly make some tasks more efficient, and as people perpetually strapped for time, that’s not a bad thing.

 

But how do we view it as people of faith? What are the ethical implications?

 

Ryan Panzer, writer and thinker at the intersection of technology and the church, will help us consider these topics. Less of a “how-to” than a “why-to” or “why not-to” … we will wonder together about the good of this part of creation and how it impacts our vocation as human beings.
