This month, Bishop Paul Erickson has been speaking out against Christian nationalism as part of the launch of the multi-year “We All Belong” campaign organized by Milwaukee Inner-City Congregations Allied for Hope (MICAH).

On August 3, our bishop spoke to around 100 faith leaders at the campaign kickoff rally and was quoted in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “America is not a Christian nation,” he said, because our country is at its best when Christianity is one faith among many in the public sphere.

Bishop Erickson also joined MICAH’s Rev. Dr. Richard Shaw on Wisconsin Public Radio’s “Central Time” last week to promote the campaign and answer listener questions.
