Active Rostered Ministers are currently serving under call, on leave from call or disabled.
Rostered Ministers should NOT register as lay members.
While all retired rostered ministers are welcome to register for the assembly, only 22 will be allowed to register as voting members, in accordance with the bylaw adopted at the 2022 assembly (this number is 15% of the 148 retired rostered ministers in the synod as of 12/31/2024).

Retired rostered ministers serving under contract in transitional ministries are automatically granted voting privileges.

If you would like to serve as a voting member at the synod assembly please contact Mary Romskog (mary@milwaukeesynod.org or 414.671.1212) in the synod office before you complete this registration form.

Remember: all retired rostered ministers are welcome to register for the assembly, at the reduced rate shown. Those not granted voting privileges are allowed to speak on all matters before the assembly, but limiting the voting to 15% of the retired roster helps us maintain the required lay/rostered minister balance.

Important information about childcare

We are happy to provide childcare for registered members. We are unable to accommodate children that are not pre-registered. We hire providers based on the number and ages of registered children

Childcare is available for children 6 weeks through five years old. If you have older children we'll do our best to provide childcare for them. Please contact the office for details about childcare for older children at 414.671.1212.

Parents, please send along snacks and small shareable/losable toys with your children.

IMPORTANT!! Our childcare providers have received background checks and they are compensated for their time. If you find you won't need childcare after registering we would appreciate a phone call.

Pre-Assembly Meetings

We have two opportunities to prepare for the work of the assembly that will be held on zoom during the week before the assembly gathers. These include learning about the proposed resolutions, learning about the budget and a session for those that are new to assembly.
