Hourly Rate: $18-$20/hour

What’s the role?
We are seeking a Communications & Office Manager who will oversee and execute on all activities of the
church office, coordinate all communications for the church, and serve as the link connecting individuals’
unique gifts and interests with appropriate Trinity ministry opportunities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Continuing to innovate how the church communicates via bulk mailing, weekly bulletin
announcements, social media platforms, and digital livestreaming.
Preparation and planning for worship services such as communicating with scheduled worship
volunteers, creating worship bulletins, and PowerPoint presentations.
Preparation of a monthly newsletter, mailings to those who don’t have email and stewardship mailings
as needed by the Stewardship team.
Maintain social media accounts on Facebook and YouTube.
Maintaining membership and attendance records. Provides Pastor and related ministry teams
information on member milestones and recognition. Printing of certificates for recognition.
Overseeing the operations of the church office – ordering supplies/services (i.e. altar flowers, paper
products), notifying the property team of building issues, greeting visitors, record keeping, maintaining
key log, and triaging questions from members and visitors.

What this role needs:
Previous administrative and/or office manager/communication experience required.
Experience and effectiveness in communicating with people. Proficiency in cloud-based
communication platforms, such as Flocknote, Tithe.ly, Sign-up Genius, ELCA worship resource Sundays
and Seasons preferred, but will train.
Experience using social media and messaging platforms, including Facebook and YouTube.
Competency in using various software programs including Canva, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel,
Publisher, and Power Point.
Familiarity with ELCA liturgies and ELCA organizational structures preferred but will train.
