This workshop is designed for congregation teams, rostered ministers, and individuals who are striving toward authentic diversity in deepening understanding of racism and heterosexism and the intersections of oppression. The workshop will be grounded in the practice of Dwelling in the Word and the process of learning through stories. We will examine the construction and meaning of “isms,” provide tools to understand our own place within systems of oppression, and identify steps and opportunities to grow in both understanding and action.
