Responsibilities
● Clean and maintain the entire building, including restrooms, sanctuary,
offices, common areas, hallways, program spaces, and other facility areas.
● Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and empty trash and recycling.
● Clean and sanitize high-use areas, including showers and restrooms.
● Be onsite during Lunch at Olga’s and other programs to address spills, food
messes, and other cleaning needs.
● Assist with cleaning before and after events and building activities.
● Monitor cleaning supplies and notify the Operations Manager when supplies
need to be replenished.
● Report maintenance or facility concerns to the Operations Manager.
● Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, volunteers,
guests, and community members.
Qualifications
● Previous professional janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial
cleaning experience preferred but not required.
● Reliable and dependable.
● Able to work independently.
● Comfortable working in a busy, high-traffic community facility.
● Able to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and
moving cleaning equipment and supplies.
● Respectful and professional when interacting with community members,
staff, and volunteers.
