The Greater Milwaukee Synod is releasing a video worship service for optional use in congregations on Sunday, April 11. Reflecting on the “Doubting Thomas” passage from John 20, we will contemplate how God meets us both in our times of doubt and in unexpected ways that surprise us– all is a part of the journey of faith. We are pleased and grateful to have had the assistance of some of our 32 seminarians in preparing this service. Your prayers and support for them as they continue to prepare for ordained ministry is encouraged and welcomed. We hope that you’ll enjoy worshiping with them when the service is released. By Tuesday, March 30, we will send a Dropbox link to rostered ministers so they can download and use individual segments or the full worship video as needed. The full worship will be made public on our YouTube channel and Facebook page on Saturday, April 10. We hope these videos will provide an opportunity for pastors, deacons, and worship leaders to have a brief respite in the wake of a busy Lenten season.
