Synod Mural Dedication Come see the newly-installed mural in person, and hear comments from: Tia Richardson (the artist) Venice Williams (Ministry Leader, The Table) and Bishop Paul Erickson. Read more about this project here.
This year's Fall Leadership Conference will be held at Lutherdale in Elkhorn, WI. The guest speaker is Rev. Tim Brown, Director for Congregational Stewardship Support in the Office of the Presiding Bishop. Delving into the discipleship roots of generosity, we’ll explore the theological and practical ways that stewardship enlivens followers of Christ and the whole church, and we’ll reimagine together how that can be lived out in the local congregation.
The synods of Region 5 (the synods in Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan) are collaborating to present annual boundaries education for active Rostered Ministers and Synod Authorized Ministers. Professional lay church staff are also welcome to attend.
Save the date for Together in Mission, our synod’s annual learning gathering for lay and rostered leaders! Together we’ll worship, celebrate our partnership in the Gospel, and learn together on a variety of ministry topics.
We are grateful for the many ways that our leaders are serving during Lent and Holy Week, and hope that this time of worship can be a chance to reflect and be renewed in body and spirit.
Join ELCA pastors, deacons and lay leaders from across Southeast Wisconsin for our annual Synod Assembly! We'll gather to worship, enjoy fellowship, and vote on our budget, elected positions and more.
