ETS Connects Congregations with Vibrant Synod Ministries
Four congregations volunteered to serve as First-Round Congregations for Equipping the Saints. Faith Lutheran in Cedarburg was the fourth congregation to conduct the five-week campaign and completed the appeal in May 2022.
Congregational leader Cindy Dellegrazio shares the meaning of participating in the campaign:
“When we first set our goal for Equipping the Saints, I was concerned that we would never achieve our target. I was delighted to see how the congregation responded to this appeal. Not only did we exceed our goal by over 68%, but the number of families that participated helped me to realize how connected our members really are with the Greater Milwaukee Synod. God is at work in this campaign!”
The ETS Campaign has raised over $904,000 which is 39.3% toward our goal. The campaign is now seeking to let every member of the Greater Milwaukee Synod to hear about this effort and make their own decision if they would like to provide financial support to the campaign.
We began training congregation leaders this month, and will continue with sessions in December and January. This is a great continuing education opportunity for stewardship teams to build skills they can use for any future congregational stewardship campaign!
