Our annual Synod Assembly will be held Friday evening, April 30 and Saturday, May 1, 2021 on the Zoom webinar platform with a livestream viewing option for non-voting guests and visitors. Registration will open next week, and we encourage you to register your voting members as soon as possible. Due to our virtual platform and the need to handle voting credentials, we are not able to accept registrations after April 26th. Our agenda for assembly includes a worship service (open to everyone) on Friday evening followed by a short plenary session in which we will share information that will help things flow smoothly on Saturday. Saturday’s work will include elections, action on the budget and resolutions, reports from Rev. Amy Reumann, ELCA Director of Advocacy Ministries, Bishop Erickson, Vice President Dr. Joyce Caldwell and several of our ministries. We will post a draft agenda on our event page as soon as it is available. There are many opportunities to serve, and we invite you to consider how you may be involved in the work of the synod. Elections will be held for Synod Council, Consultation Committee, and Churchwide Assembly voting members. Learn more on our event website.
